Year Old Club |
Children
are admitted on or after their second birthday. We offer three
sessions a week for them to come and experience play with
other children in a safe and secure environment with
the support of members of staff.
We allocate six places per session and use a waiting list
to fill these places.
We have a very good adult to child ratio of 1:3 and this allows
the children to experiment and experience a range of planned
and free play opportunities and equipment aimed at their developmental
age.
We use the 'Birth to Three Matters' framework developed by
Ofsted to plan, observe and record children's development.
The 2 year old club is run alongside the pre-school in its
own designated area. |

| At pre-school
we offer a tailored curriculum to the early years foundation
stage and 'Every Child Matters' laid down by Ofsted through
topics which will interest children to learn. Our ratio of
trained staff to children is 1:6. |

a thriving group which meets every Wednesday afternoon in
Burley Gate Pre-school Log Cabin. It is run by qualified staff. |

| Children
are eligible for Nursery Education Funding the term after
their 3rd birthday of five sessions of 2.5 hours per week,
38 weeks a year. Parents are then required to pay for any
extra sessions or weeks their child attends. |
